We want people to have the best possible experience with our NakWare
software so at present our policy is that upgrades are free to registered
users - this has been the case since our first NakWare product was released.
If this policy changes then registered users will get free upgrades for 6 months
from the date of the policy change (or 1 year from their purchase date).
Occasionally we do a major upgrade to a product and update the registration
or licensing to reflect the changes and the target users better, you can
continue using your current version if you do not want to change from your
current conditions.

Due to the fact that all our products have a full featured trial period
we do not issue refunds, this includes where you change your computer or
operating system.
If you have not received a product you registered please email
sales@nakware.com with your current
details as the only reason (so far) that this happens is that the email
address supplied to us is somehow not working.

Any software we develop we retain the ownership of unless specified
otherwise in writing. This enables us to ensure the quality of our products
and we can arrange licenses to suit your needs - even world rights if that
is what is needed.

We have redefined our shareware as trialware as the term is more
informative - it basically means "try-before-you-buy software".
This move is in keeping with the high standards we have always had for
our software and our desire to provide the best.

NetNak, NikNak and NfoNak had previously used advert sponsoring.
As of January 2001 we removed all advert sponsoring
Some of our current products have been
incorrectly identified as containing spyware, after following up this issue
this was found to be due to a incorrect test being used to detect spyware.
Current versions of the spyware detector that had this problem should have
this matter fixed.

Practically all advert sponsored software now comes under
the general heading of spyware. If you want to check for different types of
spyware on you computer we recommend you use
SpyBotSD as we
have found it to be the most reliable.

Vista Support
Due to the changes made by Microsoft when they created Windows Vista we
recommend testing our software on the computer you plan to run it on before
registering it. If you have any problems with the trial registering the software
is not likely to resolve the problems at all. Make sure you can close the software and then re-start it as
this tests it with Vista assigned rights.
Vista Compatibility Mode
Running the program in compatibility mode ...
If the program worked correctly on the computer before you upgraded to
Windows Vista, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then type the name of the program in the Start Search
box.

Properties.
- On the Compatibility tab, click to select the Run this program in
compatibility mode for check box.

ran correctly.
- Click OK.
Running as an Administrator ...
If the program still has problems running you may need run the program as an
administrator. To test this ...

box.
- In the Programs list, right-click the program name, and then click Run as
administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or
confirmation, type the password
